The Greenhouse

For the artist Jack Widdowson, dance means above all: imagination. In his piece THE GREENHOUSE we experience just how fantastic this can be. The performance invites you into a world that is both vulnerable and overwhelmingly vital. Together with director Emilio Díaz Abregú and producer Charlie Petersen, Widdowson creates a poetic-surreal mix of contemporary dance, puppet theatre and room installation. A sprouting garden of coexistence. Populated by the most marvellous creatures, at once familiar and alien. In this garden, the boundaries dissolve. Between people and puppets. Between civilisation and nature. Between past, present and future.
